Winter Fun!

So, it's just after christmas, and I now have some christmas money (i.e. investment capital) burning a hole in my pocket. I've been kicking around a few ideas. I sort of need background stands of my own... that would be good. A nice new TTL flash would be great. I would also really like a new, small interchangeable lens camera... So, I have just about all of what I would like lined up, and I think that would just about do it for my available funds... but I'm caught up in analysis paralysis. I want these things, but I don't know that they would be the best things for my photography, my business, or me in general right now... I mean, sure, the background stands and TTL flash would be good for my business, but a small camera? Would that really be that beneficial? I think that for good or bad, I've let my business colour all my decisions about what I should buy... so, heck, I'll ask the interwebs, what should I get with my hard "earned" money? :) Time to head back from my "Lunch" break!

So, I got a new toy again... a google chrome laptop. Right now, I'm not really using it to it's fullest, since I'm posting from home, on my wifi, but I'm hoping that having a light, portable, communication enabled laptop will let me get around to blogging a lot more often... or you know... more than once a month or less frequently... more to come. hopefully... :)

No, really, I live! It's been a while, but I'm thinking of rambling to the internets more. Posting from the iPod, so this will be short. I got some new gear, and have been loving exploring what it can do for the past few months. Snow has come and gone for the first time. More to come...

The Poll

Ahem. So, tacos won. It was a nearly Infinite margin, as you can't do a relativistic comparison of one to nothing. In the absolute sense, it wasn't much of a vote, but I'll choose the relative manner, in which tacos infinitely outscored everything else. So, now I need to find some tacos.

Any suggestions? :)

Tulip Ball 2009

I was once again given the opportunity to shoot the Tulip Ball this year, and took it.

Once I settle out what exactly I can do with the pictures with NABA, the organization at whos request I am invited, this will solidify.

A Start

Once again, I join the ranks of those in the blagosphere, and spread my little voice to the un-named masses. Eventually, I will probably post in a relatively regular fashion, but for now, this simple hello will have to do.
